Graduate of this course are given a Licensure Examination by the Professional Regulation Commission and after passing the Examination the Registered Criminologist is qualifies to act in the following capacities:

1. As professors, instructors or teachers in criminology in any university, college or school duly recognized by the government, teachers in any of the following subjects:  a . law enforcement administration; b. criminal; c. correction administration; d. crime sociology and allied subjects, and other technical and specialized subjects in the criminology curriculum provided by the Department Education.
2. As law enforcement  administrator, executive, adviser, consultant or agent in any government or private agency.
3. As technician in dactyloscopy, ballistics, questioned documents, police photography, lie detection, forensic chemistry and scientific aspects of crime detection.
4. As correctional administrators, executive, supervisors, working officers in any correctional and penal institutions. 
5. As counselors, experts advisers, researchers in any government and private agency in any aspects of criminal researches or project involving the causes of crimes, juvenile delinquency, treatments of offenders, police operations, law enforcement administration scientific criminal investigations or public welfare administration.
6. As mentors or officers of the PC/INP.
7. They can avail the lateral entry in any law enforcement agencies as an officer with the lowest rank of Lieutenant.
